Why I Paint People Without Faces

A passport photograph can determine which borders we cross, yet it reveals almost nothing about who we are. In my Skin Portraits, faceless figures become canvases for color, texture, and imagined histories, inviting viewers to look beyond the face and consider what makes us human.
